Tsinandali Wine Symposium: A Celebration of Georgian Wine
Inaugural Event to Showcase the Country's Rich Winemaking Heritage
Tsinandali Estate and Silk Road Group Host Symposium on November 3-4
Tbilisi, Georgia - September 28, 2023 - Tsinandali Estate and Silk Road Group are proud to announce the inaugural Tsinandali Wine Symposium, a two-day event to be held in Tsinandali, Georgia, on November 3-4, 2023.
The symposium will celebrate the rich winemaking heritage of Georgia, one of the world's oldest wine-producing countries. Participants will have the opportunity to taste a wide range of Georgian wines, including rare and limited-edition vintages, and to learn about the country's unique winemaking techniques.
The symposium will feature a panel of renowned wine experts, including:
- François Mauss, founder of the Grand Jury du Vin
- Lizzie Ostrom, Master of Wine
- Jasper Morris, Master of Wine
- Giorgi Kbiladze, Georgian winemaker
The panelists will lead a series of tastings and discussions on various aspects of Georgian wine, including grape varieties, terroir, and winemaking. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit Tsinandali Estate, one of Georgia's most historic wineries.
